Current owner Jason Krauss had tried lots of different products and could not find the results he was looking for. He is quite fussy and particular about his toys and likes to keep things looking new. He met the previous owners of Mudlove and they convinced him to try out the products because “they’re the best”. That’s what they all say so Jason expected to be underwhelmed. However, it was the truth. Mudlove Offroad Pro Wash and Shield & Shine were the best products he had encountered to date. And they smell amazing. Once current owners Jason and Shannon bought the company they committed to adding products as the business grows to keep the task of cleaning your machine simple and easy! We are now on the hunt constantly for the best and “just making things easier”.
It all started with an idea.
Mudlove Offroad was started by Ben and Erin who had an idea to have a riding group. People would always ask them where is a good place to stay? Eat? Ride? So they created a FB group, began to spread the word about their favorite cabin rentals/restaurants and had some shirts and stickers made. Eventually people suggested that Ben and Erin make up their own cleaning products too. So they did! And people loved them. Ben and Erin actually met Jason (half of the current ownership) in line for the showers at camp in WV. Jason and Shannon Krauss started to follow Mudlove Offroad and when Mudlove advertised that they were doing a benefit, the Krauss’s wanted to help. That benefit is where the Krauss’s purchased Mudlove for the first time and got hooked! The friendship between the (now) Oehler’s and Krauss’s also began then. After a couple of years, Ben and Erin were newly married, busy with their 4 kids and the family trucking business and didn’t have the time they needed to continue to run Mudlove Offroad. The business was offered to the Krauss’s who love to ride and were already quite immersed in offroading with their atv club - the Pinnacle Creek ATV Club. Working full time plus running their club and now Mudlove Offroad is a juggling act at times but they wouldn’t have it any other way!
